Whereas other brands highlight a special coating for their string, Yonex' SIF technology infuses a silicon oil with the monofilament material during the manufacturing process. The technology vastly improves the string's snapback and the effect lasts much longer than a simple coating. Another spin-enhancing aspect of POLYTOUR REV is the subtle eight sided shape. The shape allows REV to slide against itself for greater interaction between the mains and crosses. REV is a high control string that does an impressive job with tension maintenance as well.
